Conferences at Okahu
As a conference Venue Okahu provides a number of options and layouts to suit particular requirements. We can accommodate from 10 – 250 guests and provide a number of catering options. We can arrange any audio and visual requirements from a basic PA system through to the most modern display and sound equipment available.
If the seminar or conference is a full day, separate lunch and breakout areas can be provided all having superb views to backdrop the occasion. With the views of Sky City, the Harbour Bridge, Devonport and the Islands of the Inner Gulf, the 270-degree outlook is especially beneficial to out of town and overseas guests.
There are 108 free carparks across the road from the venue and many more in a close proximity.
Access to Okahu is easy. Just an 8 minute drive to the city center and Britomart transport center, with regular bus services along Tamaki drive.
Corporate Lunches, Dinners and Christmas events are especially popular at Okahu.
‘Cocktail style’ or a ‘walk & fork floating buffet” work superbly for up to 350 guests. Guests numbers can be from 30 – 220 for 3-5 course lunches or dinners.
Live music can be arranged: from DJs, jazz groups & covers bands to full swing bands.
We ensure that all aspects of functions are as requested. It is the employees and clients night to relax and enjoy the event and it is important that the business managers/owners can provide an event that shows their appreciation for the hard work and loyalty that staff and clients have given to the company.
We can provide a range of decorations to give that festive feel and can generally assist if you feel you wish for something different. Fireworks from the wharf can be arranged, a sensational showcase!
